“Villarreal Fine Jewelers is absolutely superb. Let me cut to the chase and give the reader four reasons why I would recommend them to prospective grooms or other jewelry buyers.”
First, their prices are reasonable. I shopped around when looking for my wife’s ring. I found that alot of the big banner stores in Austin (typically those that have their own TV commercials that look like they were produced as a high school video project) charge a premium for their jewelry. The rings I purchased from Joseph (he’s the owner) are of unparalleled value, and were less expensive than the other stores. In other words: you get a better deal here because they don’t mark up their items to pay for those annoying advertisements.
Second, the quality and level of service was impeccable. Other sane reviewers on Yelp would agree with this observation. I appreciated how they showed me my options, and worked within my budgetary constraints. I also appreciated how Joseph and Malcolm worked very closely with my wife and I on certain design elements for her rings. They knew what they were doing, and did a great job at it.
Third, they are capable of artistry when it comes to jewelry. Believe it or not, not all jewelry choices rest within an illuminated box at a store. If you have an idea of what you’re interested in, they can work with you to get it made. I found this level of flexibility — at a reasonable price too! — especially helpful.
Lastly, I appreciated the private setting of their offices. Unlike your typical jewelry store, where you get to be “that guy” talking over a glass counter top in front of everyone to see and hear, at Villarreal you can sit down in an office and discuss what you need. I felt that this took quite a bit of pressure off of what’s an intimate decision at the end of the day. Again, I would reiterate that Joseph and Malcolm were extraordinarily professional here.
I have enthusiastically recommended Villarreal Fine Jewelers to others. Given what I regard as the personal nature of certain jewelry purchases, I would not have done this if I had any reservations — even the slightest — based on my experiences there.”
